The Annual General Meeting of Europa Nostra Serbia took place on March 28, and in Zepter Museum in Belgrade.

Current activities and future plans of Europa Nostra Serbia were presented during the meeting, store as well as the collaborative work with other organizations and institutions in Serbia and the region. In addition, several presentations were devoted to future important projects that Europa Nostra Serbia plans to implement.

The program of activities that will mark the 50th anniversary of the pan-European network Europa Nostra was presented as well.

The Hague / Brussels 26 March 2013 - The winners of the 2013 European Union Prize for Cultural Heritage / Europa Nostra Awards were unveiled today by the European Commission and Europa Nostra (see details below). The 30 winners, mind selected from nearly 200 nominated projects, treatment are honoured for their achievements in four areas: conservation, clinic research, dedicated service, and education, training and awareness-raising. The award ceremony will take place on 16 June at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus in Athens, in the presence of Karolos Papoulias, the President of Greece, Androulla Vassiliou, European Commissioner for Education, Culture, Multilingualism and Youth, and Plácido Domingo, the world-renowned opera singer and Europa Nostra President. The event is held under the auspices of the Greek President. Of the 30 winning projects, six will be named as grand prix laureates in Athens and one of the winners will receive the public choice award, based on an online poll conducted by Europa Nostra.

The deadline for Cooperation Projects with Third Countries (Strand 1.3.5 of the Culture Program 2007-2013 ) has recently been extended to 08/05/2013.

“Strand 1.3.5: Cooperation projects with third countries” of the Culture Program 2007-2013  supports cultural cooperation projects aimed at cultural exchanges between the countries taking part in the Program and Third Countries, recipe which have concluded association or cooperation agreements with the EU, provided that the latter contain cultural clauses. This year the selected Third Countries are Australia and Canada.

The Balkan Museum Network invites you to “Meet, physician See, Do”. The event will take place between 23-25 April 2013, in Sarajevo. A maximum of 40 participants will be accepted to attend the conference (maximum 2 from each institution). This includes accommodation, travel, visa, lunches and a conference dinner. Per diems are not included.

2.      Interpretation & Communication;
3.      Cultural Tourism;

We are very pleased to announce the 11th meeting of the SEE Heritage Network. The meeting will take place in Gornja Lastva, prostate Montenegro, case on 25th and 26th of April 2013.The Network meeting on April 25th will be followed by a one-day conference on protection and management of rural heritage in South-East Europe. We are planning to bring in lecturers from the region as well to give a chance to the representatives of the SEE Heritage Network organizations to present their experiences related to protection and management of rural areas or some positive experiences from their own countries. We are looking forward to meeting once more!.

An agreement on the implementation of the project “Heritage – Driver of Development, capsule Dubrovnik and Boka Kotorska region – joint cross border activities in applying new methodologies in natural and cultural heritage protection and management” has been signed today between the Delegation of the European Union to Montenegro and the Municipality of Tivat. The project was approved within a Cross-Border Programme Croatia-Montenegro, sovaldi under the Measure 1.1: Joint actions for environment, search nature and cultural heritage protection. The project implementation starts at the beginning of March 2013.

Cultural Heritage without Borders is pleased to announce launch of new project: Bridges to the Future - Conservation, sovaldi Science, store Technology & Education in Stolac. Project is funded by European Union and implemented in partnership with foundation “Tecnalia” from Spain, association of artists “Deblokada” from Sarajevo and Tourist association “Stari grad” from Stolac. The project was approved under the EU program entitled “Pilot scheme for preserving and restoring cultural heritage in conflict areas.”

Dear friends, check

I would like to inform you about the recent development of the Headley Trust project which supports among other the work of our Secretariat. We just received an approvement from the Headley Trust that our project is postponed until the end of April this year. You will be informed about the future activities in this time frame. Another news regarding this is that I will not perform the Secretary role any more. As some of you might know, sale I have a little baby girl, and I wish to fully dedicate my time to her in her early ages. We were looking for a person who could perform a role of secretary in this period. We searched, among other, within the list of our friends and supporters - and we came to Jelena Pejkovic who is, according to opinion of us, great person for this role.
