The Gallery Klovi?evi dvori in the Upper town in Zagreb organizes great exhibition Treasure of the Kotor Diocese from 14.12.2009. till 14.02 2010, cheap after 1200 years of moving the relics of the Saint from Asia Minor to Kotor.
For centuries is Kotor seat of the Roman catholic bishops. It is an old walled town in Boka Kotorska bay in Montenegro, with the Cathedral of St Triphon from 1166 as a remarkable monument within.
Fifteen experts from five countries worked upon the realization of the exhibition, which is a nice example of international cooperation of institutions and experts. Extraordinary religious objects from the whole Boka bay are exhibited: relics of the head of Saint Triphon, golden altar from the Cathedral, painting of Lovro Dobri?evi? and Tripo Kokolja, crucifixes, silver plates from Perast, the Dobrota lace, stone elements.
