The Ministry of Culture of Montenegro is hosting a transnational
conference “Spatial Planning and Management for Improving Cultural
Heritage in South East Europe” on April 17 and 18. This activity is
organized as a part of the CHERPLAN project.
.
National, regional and international experts in the fields of cultural
heritage and spatial planning will be attending the Conference.
Within the framework of this transnational conference, guest experts will
present topics such as cultural heritage management, sustainable cultural
tourism, energy efficiency and spatial planning, and participants will
informally exchange their knowledge and experiences in these fields
through participation in round table discussions. The results of the
conference will be summarized in the Manual of Practices and Expertise in
the Field of Cultural Heritage.
CHERPLAN project, which is implemented within the framework of the SEE
Program, financed by the EU through Delegation of the European Union in
Montenegro, aims to secure a strong basis for synergies between protection
of cultural heritage and socio-economic development, through encouraging
modern approaches to spatial planning throughout the region of South East
Europe.
